Working student (m/f/d) for design and simulation for water electrolysis

We are looking for students of mechanical engineering or process engineering or similar who are interested in water electrolysis.

Explore the future with us!

For climate and environmental protection, you will develop the future technologies of the energy transition with us!

We want to work with you to further develop an experimental cell for component characterization and use it to validate simulations.

This includes the following areas of activity:

  • CAD design of experimental cells
  • Implementation of CFD simulations for flow and mass transport
  • Support with experimental studies and data analysis

Also as part of a thesis!

A man is standing at an electrolysis test bench, which he controls via a computer.

What you bring with you

  • Degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering or similar.
  • Interest in design, fluid mechanics and simulation
  • Ideally initial experience with CAD tools and CFD software
  • Ability to work independently and enjoy teamwork

What you can expect

  • Collaboration on a highly topical issue of the energy transition
  • Opportunity to contribute and realise your own ideas
  • A dynamic, international and interdisciplinary team
  • Option to write a student research project or thesis
