The ZBT Hydrogen Energy Symposium is back for its third edition: The ZBT Research School invites researchers and early-career scientists to share the latest findings in hydrogen research – ranging from electrolysis and fuel cells to storage, transportation, safety, materials, components, systems, and simulation.

Are you working on hydrogen technologies and looking to showcase your research, get feedback, and network with the community? Then the ZBT Hydrogen Energy Symposium (ZHyEnS) in Duisburg is the place for you. Building on the successful format of recent years, the ZBT Research School will once again bring together experts and early-career researchers on 18. November 2026 – for an intensive day filled with expert presentations, discussions, and networking.

Strong response to the ZHyEnS 2026 Call for Abstracts

The Call for Abstracts for the ZBT Hydrogen Energy Symposium 2026 is now closed. We are delighted with the high number of submissions and are currently putting together the programme. It is expected to feature around 10 short talks and more than 30 posters. Registration will open in August.
