Ceremonial inauguration of the new Greenlyte direct air capture plant at the hydrogen test field

Greenlyte Carbon Technologies and ZBT have commissioned a new direct air capture plant at the hydrogen test field in Duisburg. The plant was constructed in a short period of time and supports the further development of infrastructure for green molecules and synthetic energy sources.

Projects

ZBT conducts research, development and consulting in the fields of hydrogen, fuel cells and electrolysis. Its research projects cover the entire spectrum from basic research, primarily in the field of new materials, to application-oriented research and R&D projects for industry.

At conferences, technical workshops and other events, we are happy to present our results in talks and poster contributions for direct discussion. Our scientific articles offer detailed insights and are published in renowned journals. In addition, our project reports provide further comprehensive descriptions of our work.

Research

The ZBT – the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Center in Duisburg conducts application-oriented research on hydrogen-related topics, thus building a bridge between fundamental research and industry.

Publications

The results of publicly funded research projects belong to the general public. Publications are therefore an important part of our work.

Equipment

We have high-end laboratories, a wide range of measuring instruments and individually developed test benches. In the Hy-Lab, we analyse hydrogen samples for purity and contamination. On our hydrogen test field, we examine the interaction of systems and components on a 1:1 scale. And at the hydrogen test station, we develop hydrogen filling stations and refuelling protocols.
