ZBT-Wasserstofftage (Hydrogen Days) – The technology forum for business and science

“We want to bring together people who are enthusiastically developing solutions for our clean energy system of the future,” says ZBT Managing Director Dr. Peter Beckhaus (pictured), describing the motivation behind the conference format, which follows in the tradition of the former AiF Fuel Cell Alliance. “We want to highlight innovations from companies and applied research—from small details with a big impact to complex overall systems.”

The Hydrogen Days bring together people from the research and development departments of large, medium, and small companies, as well as startups, with scientists engaged in applied research – people who are themselves working on innovative hydrogen technologies. “And of course, we won’t turn away anyone without an R&D background,” Beckhaus promises. “Above all, we want the ZBT Hydrogen Days to boost momentum in the hydrogen sector.”

At the ZBT Research School’s annual Hydrogen Energy Symposium, hydrogen researchers gather in Duisburg to present the results of their work and exchange the latest findings.

Those interested can look forward to a day filled with the latest research findings and discussions on hydrogen technologies.

The decarbonisation of heavy-duty transportation is a key element of the energy transition. Establishing a viable hydrogen mobility system requires close coordination among vehicle development, component and system engineering, infrastructure, and political and economic conditions.

At the annual HeavyDuty Congress in Duisburg, experts gather to learn about and discuss fuel cell and other hydrogen-powered propulsion systems used in road and rail freight transport, as well as in construction equipment, garbage trucks, street sweepers, and buses.
