Across the country, there will be lectures, expert discussions, factory and laboratory tours, marketplace events and activities. An overview is available on the WDW website. The ZBT is participating in Hydrogen Week with an open hydrogen get-together and has teamed up with the City of Duisburg, the Hy.Region.Rhein.Ruhr association and the Port of Duisburg for this event.
14 June | Open hydrogen get-together in Duisburg
Hydrogen enthusiasts and those interested in the topic will meet on 14 June 2023 at the Finkenkrug student pub in Duisburg Neudorf. Everyone is welcome – from hydrogen novices to experts! To mark Hydrogen Week, there will be short, entertaining talks on the future of hydrogen, the Rhine-Ruhr hydrogen region, hydrogen applications in Duisburg and hydrogen (and its derivatives) in the Port of Duisburg, designed to spark discussion. Afterwards, there will be time for a chat about hydrogen and networking.
Participation is free of charge, but registration is requested. Please register or direct any questions to Henning Winter at h.winter(at)zbt.de.
Since last year, those interested in hydrogen have been meeting regularly at the Duisburg Open Hydrogen Round Table for informal discussions at the Finkenkrug. The Hydrogen Round Table is organised by the ZBT – Centre for Fuel Cell Technology in Duisburg. The ZBT is one of Europe’s leading research institutions for fuel cells, hydrogen technologies and energy storage.

16 June | The Hydrogen Workbench – a look behind the scenes in Bornheim
The ‘H2 Workbench’ offers the opportunity to experience the use of hydrogen in mobility and the maintenance of hydrogen vehicles in detail and first-hand. A hydrogen bus, a hydrogen lorry and several hydrogen cars will be on display.
