ZBT Laboratory Ammonia Cracker Plant Camp Fire Project

Working student (m/f/d) in the field of hydrogen derivatives

We are looking for students of process engineering, chemical engineering or mechanical engineering…

…to expand our expertise in process and plant development. In the Fuels and Processes department, you will support a wide range of R&D projects relating to hydrogen derivatives such as ammonia and methane. The focus is on the development, testing and qualification of test rigs, plants and components for the production, conversion and use of these energy carriers. The systems developed are intended, for example, for use in synthesis plants, fuel cells, engines or similar energy conversion processes. They address future energy applications in the mobility sector as well as in the stationary sector for electricity and heat supply or for sector coupling using Power to X.

As a working student

  • you support the selection of process engineering components.
  • you support the construction, assembly and commissioning of test rigs and systems.
  • you make hardware modifications to test rigs and systems.
  • you collect and evaluate experimental data.
  • you carry out literature and technology research on the state of art.

You are a good fit for us,

  • if you are interested in test rig and plant construction, in research and development and have practical hands-on skills.
  • if your work is independently, in a structured manner and enjoy working as a part of a team.
  • if you have very good written and spoken German and English skills.

We offer you

  • exciting and challenging activities in relevant future topics.
