Hydrogen Energy Symposium

At the ZBT Research School’s annual Hydrogen Energy Symposium, hydrogen researchers meet in Duisburg to present the results of their work and exchange the latest findings.

The Hydrogen Energy Symposium offers a unique opportunity to find out about the latest research results, exchange ideas and network with experts. Interested parties can look forward to a day full of the latest research results and discussions on hydrogen technologies.

Exchange among researchers

The presentations selected on the basis of the abstracts submitted will be flanked by high-caliber keynotes. The event will also be accompanied by a poster exhibition.

The topics include:

  • Functional materials and electrochemical systems
  • Hydrogen storage, transportation, safety and regulations
  • Fuel cells and electrolysers
  • Hydrogen applications in transportation, industry and energy systems

The Hydrogen Energy Symposium is organised by the ZBT Research School, the central platform for scientific exchange, interdisciplinary networking and individual development at ZBT. The event will be held entirely in English.

Event Tip: ZBT-Wasserstofftage (Hydrogen Days)

At the ZBT-Wasserstofftage (Hydrogen Days), the technology forum for industry and science, the focus is on exchanging information about technical innovations and networking.

What’s new? How does it fit together? How can we turn it into something new, better and bigger together? This is precisely why developers, researchers and H2 tech aficionados are coming together at the Hydrogen Days in Duisburg, Germany.

Event Tip: HeavyDuty Congress

The decarbonisation of heavy goods transport is a key element of the energy transition. Establishing a functioning hydrogen mobility system requires close cooperation between vehicle development, component and system technology, infrastructure, and political and economic framework conditions.

At the annual HeavyDuty Congress in Duisburg, Germany, experts meet to learn about and discuss fuel cell and other hydrogen drives in road and rail freight transport, construction machinery, refuse collection vehicles, road sweepers and buses.
