CH2ance – National transformation hub for hydrogen-based drives and components in the automotive and supplier industry

The cH2ance project is a national transformation hub that supports companies in the automotive and supplier industry in Germany on their way to sustainable, hydrogen-based mobility. The aim of the project is to promote knowledge exchange between stakeholders from industry, research and politics and to drive forward the development of hydrogen technologies.

The focus is on creating a network that enables joint solutions for the integration of hydrogen as an energy source in vehicles. The project relies on the exchange of experiences and best practices to promote innovation and develop concrete applications.

Another central component of the project is the development of norms and standards for the use of hydrogen in the automotive industry. These standards are intended to ensure the safe and efficient use of hydrogen and facilitate interoperability between different manufacturers and systems.

In addition, the project will produce practical fact sheets providing relevant information and guidance for companies involved in the transition to hydrogen technology. These materials will serve as valuable resources for better understanding and addressing the challenges and potential of hydrogen mobility.

The cH2ance project will run from 2022 to 2025 and contributes to the implementation of the national strategy aimed at promoting sustainable and climate-friendly mobility. It represents an important step in the transformation of the automotive industry and contributes to reducing CO2 emissions and promoting the energy transition.
