Because a race day like this is no walk in the park: the three 250-metre heats demanded concentration, technique and maximum effort. And the 500-metre final, with a flying start and a turn, then demanded everything from the athletes once again. Fortunately, the weather played along: pleasant temperatures and a steady tailwind provided ideal conditions for the race.
Many thanks to the ZBT crew for your fantastic, extra-ordinary efforts! And thanks to the Canoe Guild for your support before and during the regatta!
