Technical Services

The electrical engineer and their team are responsible for the smooth electrical operation of the ZBT and its laboratories and workshops. The department also supports the research departments in the planning and construction of their test benches and ensures that the applicable legal regulations are complied with.

In the two large workshop halls of the ZBT, the workshop manager and his staff use milling machines, water jet cutting systems, sandblasting cabinets, etc. to manufacture the complex individual parts required for our research and test bench construction. Modern technical machines enable innovative workpieces to be produced.

Building services are responsible for the smooth operation of the ZBT. In addition to classic caretaker duties, the work of various external trades and the inspection of various technical systems and safety equipment are also coordinated here.

The IT department team takes care of the classic IT tasks at ZBT and ensures that the technical requirements are always met so that employees can perform their various tasks.

To ensure that our employees can work safely, this department regulates the implementation of national legal requirements in the area of health and safety and supports the departments in their daily work to comply with safety regulations in the area of occupational health and safety and functional safety.
