The workshop “Approval – Certification – Standardisation” in the field of fuel cells and hydrogen deals with the approval of components and systems in hydrogen energy systems. The next edition on 20. and 21. February 2024 will be jointly organised by DLR, Fraunhofer ISE and ZBT.

The 13th “Approval – Certification – Standardisation” workshop will focus on questions relating to the approval of components and systems that arise when setting up hydrogen energy systems. With the help of practical examples, various aspects of the approval, certification and standardisation of innovative systems will be highlighted. In addition, participants will receive an overview of current national standardisation work in the areas of fuel cells and hydrogen.
The workshop is aimed at end users, plant operators and employees in research facilities for fuel cell and electrolysis applications as well as certification bodies and hydrogen system integrators, but also employees in committees who would like to expand their knowledge. During the workshop, there will be numerous opportunities to exchange information and experiences.
This workshop is jointly organised by the DLR Institute of Networked Energy Systems, the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE and the ZBT – The Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Center.
