International visit: Innovate UK visits ZBT

The ZBT welcomed a delegation from Innovate UK, which learned about the hydrogen ecosystem in the Ruhr region and explored opportunities for a green future together.

We were delighted to be visited by a delegation of British SMEs – organized by Innovate UK‘s Global Business Innovation Programme (GBIP). The participants and their companies are working on innovative hydrogen solutions. They were curious to find out more about the hydrogen ecosystem in the Ruhr region.

ZBT science communicator Theresa Schredelseker presented the research and development activities of the ZBT, and ZBT scientist Marin Frank explained the technologies at our hydrogen test field. Maryam Ait Sghir from Duisburg Economic Development also presented the regional hydrogen network Hy.Region.Rhein.Ruhr e.V.

We would like to thank Innovate UK and the British Consulate General in Düsseldorf for their visit and for promoting international cooperation in the field of hydrogen innovation and green energy.
