Once again, a test stand developed at ZBT is leaving the hallowed halls to be used by an industrial company. There it is to measure the resistance of bipolar plates as a quality criterion in series production.
Refuelling hydrogen in large quantities quickly - this requirement is becoming more and more common. How does this process work efficiently and safely? What do the components for this have to look like? ZBT is investigating these issues with nine partners as part of a new EU-funded project.
Die Stiftung Umweltenergierecht und das ZBT haben eine gemeinsame fünfteilige Veröffentlichung zur Standardsetzung im Bereich Wasserstoff erarbeitet.
Can bipolar plates be made thinner and cheaper by reinforcing compound films with carbon fibre? Researchers from ZBT and Leibniz Institute for Composite Materials are investigating this idea.
Compressing hydrogen efficiently and cost-effectively – an important building block for the use of H2 in industry and mobility. Under the project title "InnoKomp", ZBT and plant manufacturer Theisen are developing and qualifying a new electrochemical compressor system to increase efficiency in the storage, transport and delivery of hydrogen.
