Research assistant (m/f/d) in component development

To strengthen our Fuel Cell and Electrolyzer Components team, we are looking for a




Research Assistant for Component Development and Qualification (m/f/d) for Fuel Cell/Electrolyzers


to advance the development of bipolar plates and sealing materials for the respective applications with us.


In our team:

  • you will work on exciting current research projects and develop ideas and concepts for new research topics
  • you will develop new bipolar plate designs and explore efficient series production methods with industrial partners (e.g., injection molding of bipolar plates, adhesive and laser joining methods)
  • you will use extensive measurement equipment, characterize and qualify materials and components, develop new qualification procedures, and further develop existing procedures
  • you will advise partners and customers on the optimal qualification of fuel cells and components
  • you will support the setup and testing of fuel cell stacks

You are a good fit for us if

  • you have completed an engineering degree and ideally already have experience in fuel cell development/electrolyzer development/qualification procedures
  • you have design experience (CAD) and programming skills
  • you are enthusiastic about new and challenging tasks in the field of fuel cell and electrolyzer components
  • your work is characterized by high self-motivation and responsibility, as well as an independent, structured, and scientific working style
  • you enjoy working in a team and with external project partners
  • you have good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
