A welcome change from everyday school life: five pupils recently spent the day in our laboratories and were able to gain insights into the various laboratory activities. On their career orientation day, the sixth and eighth graders assembled fuel cells, examined the surfaces of fuel cell components under the profilometer and took pictures with the X-ray microscope, among other things. In wet chemistry, they were able to weigh and pipette sample material themselves and produce catalyst dispersions.
We were delighted to welcome the future researchers! To be honest, it was a bit of a welcome change from our routine too.
Thanks to Luisenschule-Gymnasium, Mülheim and August-Everding-Realschule, Bottrop for their co-operation!
