{"id":6986,"date":"2021-03-01T10:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-03-01T10:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prod.zbt.compositas.io\/projects\/qm-gdl-gdl-qualitaetssicherung-fuer-den-markthochlauf\/"},"modified":"2025-08-19T11:19:19","modified_gmt":"2025-08-19T11:19:19","slug":"qm-gdl","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/zbt.de\/en\/projects\/qm-gdl\/","title":{"rendered":"QM-GDL"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"text-teaser text-teaser--white\">\n  <h2 class=\"text-teaser__heading\">QM-GDL: GDL quality assurance for the market ramp-up<\/h2>\n  <div class=\"text-teaser__text\"><div class=\"teaser-text\">\n<div class=\"teaser-text\">\n<p class=\"bodytext\"><strong>Since March 2021, the ZBT has been acting for three years in a joint project within the framework of the National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology Innovation Program (NIP) for the quality assurance of gas diffusion layers for fuel cells.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">In a joint project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure as part of the NIP, uniform methods for quality assurance of gas diffusion layers (GDL) for fuel cells are to be developed over the next three years. In addition to the Zentrum f\u00fcr BrennstoffzellenTechnik GmbH, the German Aerospace Center (DLR) as coordinator, the DLR Institute of Technical Thermodynamics at the Oldenburg and Stuttgart sites, the Forschungszentrum J\u00fclich GmbH, the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems F-ISE, the Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology F-ICT and the Center for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg as research institutions are involved in the project, which started at the beginning of March 2021. On the industry side, SGL Carbon GmbH and Freudenberg Performance Materials SE &amp;amp; Co.
