Additive manufacturing can be a decisive lever here <strong data-start=\"265\" data-end=\"316\">because complex, functionally integrated components<\/strong> can be developed and iterated more quickly. At the same time, there has often been a lack of <strong data-start=\"402\" data-end=\"434\">systematic qualification<\/strong> of 3D printing materials and components for use in H\u2082 environments. This is precisely the gap that 3D-4-H2 addresses.   <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"549\" data-end=\"571\"><strong data-start=\"549\" data-end=\"571\">In a nutshell<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"572\" data-end=\"753\">\n<li data-start=\"572\" data-end=\"670\">\n<p data-start=\"574\" data-end=\"670\">3D printing has great potential for electrolysis \/ FC components, but: <strong data-start=\"634\" data-end=\"666\">Proof of suitability is often lacking<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"671\" data-end=\"753\">\n<p data-start=\"673\" data-end=\"753\">The aim is a <strong data-start=\"686\" data-end=\"718\">safe, fast transition<\/strong> from R&amp;D \u2192 prototype \u2192 application.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"text-teaser text-teaser--light\">\n  <h2 class=\"text-teaser__heading\">What exactly do we do?<\/h2>\n  <div class=\"text-teaser__text\"><p data-start=\"790\" data-end=\"1189\">In the project, we are developing and qualifying 3D printing solutions specifically for hydrogen and fuel cell applications &#8211; <strong data-start=\"912\" data-end=\"926\">integrated<\/strong> across <strong data-start=\"932\" data-end=\"986\">material, manufacturing process and quality assurance<\/strong>. A central component is the establishment and further development of testing and analysis methods in order to be able to reliably evaluate 3D-printed components (e.g. with regard to permeation and emissions of volatile degradation products). <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1191\" data-end=\"1217\"><strong data-start=\"1191\" data-end=\"1217\">Concrete work packages<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1218\" data-end=\"1574\">\n<li data-start=\"1218\" data-end=\"1306\">\n<p data-start=\"1220\" data-end=\"1306\"><strong data-start=\"1220\" data-end=\"1259\">Material and component
