PhD Peer Mentoring at ZBT<\/h1>\n

Doing a PhD in everyday project work \u2013 together and in a structured way<\/h4>\n

ZBT supports employees who want to start a PhD with its own peer mentoring programme. The focus is on a clearly structured start and regular exchanges with colleagues and mentors. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n

Structured start: the accelerator<\/h2>\n

A new cohort starts the PhD Peer Mentoring Programme every year. The programme begins with a compact accelerator <\/strong>consisting of three meetings at four-week intervals. <\/p>\n

<\/br><\/p>\n

The focus is on finding a topic, selecting a supervisor, structuring the dissertation, setting a schedule and completing the administrative steps for enrolment. Participants contribute their own ideas. The aim is to develop a doctoral project that is sound in terms of both content and organisation. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Accompanying exchange: all cohorts together<\/h2>\n

After the accelerator, all participants remain in the programme. Approximately every three to four months, all current cohorts meet with the mentoring team.
\n<\/br><\/p>\n

These meetings serve to exchange information about progress<\/strong> and to clarify current questions and open challenges. The joint framework makes it easier to learn from each other and share experiences. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Peer mentoring with professional support<\/h2>\n

The programme is supported by a small team: Prof. Dr. Harry Hoster, Dr. Marco Grundler, Dr. Theresa Schredelseker and Dr. Maria D\u00e1vila.
\n<\/br><\/p>\n

The mentoring is deliberately designed as a peer format. The group supports each other. The mentors moderate the meetings, provide guidance and are available for questions as needed. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n
