{"id":6003,"date":"2013-11-07T11:40:00","date_gmt":"2013-11-07T11:40:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prod.zbt.compositas.io\/?post_type=news&#038;p=6003"},"modified":"2025-02-13T11:42:17","modified_gmt":"2025-02-13T11:42:17","slug":"desulphurization-solution-for-fuel-cell-heating-systems","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/zbt.de\/en\/news\/desulphurization-solution-for-fuel-cell-heating-systems\/","title":{"rendered":"Desulphurization solution for fuel cell heating systems"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"text-teaser text-teaser--white\">\n  <h2 class=\"text-teaser__heading\">Desulphurization solution for fuel cell heating systems<\/h2>\n  <div class=\"text-teaser__text\"><div class=\"teaser-text\">\n<div class=\"teaser-text\">\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Development of a natural gas desulphurization unit for fuel cell heating systems with a power output 1 kWel<\/p>\n<div class=\"news-text-wrap\">\n<p class=\"bodytext\">A consortium consisting of fuel cell heating system manufacturers and developers, filter and equipment manufacturer, chemical industry, research institutes and associated partners has developed a desulphurization solution for natural gas, which is now available as the first industry solution.<br \/>\nWithin the project ZBT has coordinated the project and carried out an extensive market research for sulphur removal or sulphur detection.<br \/>\nFurthermore a standardized test set-up was built up for the desulphurization material qualification under a variety of operation conditions. In addition the test set-up was combined with a sensitive sulphur analytics (LOQ &lt;\/= 50 Mol-ppb).<br \/>\nBased on the achieved test results and CFD simulations the unit was designed and constructed. Manufacturing was realized by filter and equipment manufacturer.
