The 30kW fuel cell stack will be integrated in a battery electric vehicle to extend the vehicle\u2019s range. Project partners of the BREEZE project are FEV GmbH, Gr\u00e4bener Maschinentechnik GmbH and the Institute for Combustion Engines of RWTH Aachen University.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"news-img-wrap\">\n<div class=\"outer\">\n<div class=\"mediaelement mediaelement-image\">\n<div class=\"news-text-wrap\">\n<p class=\"bodytext\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">ZBT has performed detailed benchmarks of available MEA and coating technologies for metallic bipolar plates and has developed the design of the bipolar plates in cooperation with Gr\u00e4bener Maschinentechnik. The flowfield has been optimized using CFD simulations and a rapid-prototyping flowfieldbenchmark process, that helps to significantly reduce development time and \u2013cost. A sealing concept for the combination of bipolar plate and MEA was developed by ZBT and produced with inhouse automated dispensing technology.
