What does ZBT actually do? \u2013 ALL THIS AND MORE! Take a video flight through the institute<\/h2>\n

The Centre for Fuel Cell Technology in Duisburg, Germany shows its best sides in its brand new blockbuster; the fuel cell side, the hydrogen side and the battery side.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Changes. Challenges. Chances.<\/b>\u00a0The structural change in the Ruhr region is just picking up speed again. The old centre of German energy technology is transforming into a new energy centre. This time not with coal, but with\u00a0hydrogen<\/b>, one of the energy carriers of the future!\u00a0ZBT<\/b>\u00a0plays a central role in accelerating the hydrogen economy. After all, research on hydrogen and\u00a0fuel cells<\/b>\u00a0has been going on here for more than 20 years \u2013 with a team of now more than 150 clever minds. Hardly anywhere is the density of experts higher.<\/p>\n

But what exactly does ZBT do? Researching\u00a0fuel cells, of course \u2013 as the name suggests. But\u00a0electrolysis, battery technology,\u00a0hydrogen analysis\u00a0and\u00a0hydrogen infrastructure\u00a0with storage, transport, refuelling technology and protocols are also some of the focal points of ZBT research.<\/p>\n

And although we always like to explain to everyone what we do, we have now\u00a0made a film<\/b>\u00a0where you can easily\u00a0take a tour of the institute<\/b>\u00a0from anywhere there is internet anytime, for example on\u00a0Youtube<\/a>\u00a0(or click on the picture). Among other things, you can find out how ZBT researches technologies for the production, storage, transport and delivery of\u00a0hydrogen, how the ZBT team develops and tests technologies for the construction of an efficient, safe hydrogen infrastructure, how we optimise and further develop\u00a0fuel cell stacks\u00a0and their components, what we contribute to the development of innovative battery technology…<\/p>\n
