The Supporting Association of the Fuel Cell Research Centre ZBT GmbH (Zentrum f\u00fcr BrennstoffzellenTechnik e. V.) is pleased to welcome PRIMAGAS Energie GmbH & Co. KG as a new member.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Primagas is one of the leading suppliers of LPG in Germany. As the only company in the industry whose service and installation quality is certified by T\u00dcV NORD, and whose customer satisfaction rating is also T\u00dcV NORD-certified, Primagas is a recognised partner throughout Germany for all private households and businesses that are not connected to the natural-gas network but do not want to forgo the advantages of a gas supply. LPG is a low-carbon fuel and emits almost no fine dust particles or other pollutants. About 260 back-office and field staff as well as sales partners in the heating sector, manufacturers and planning offices support around 80,000\u00a0customers and advise interested parties on LPG, service, energy efficiency and technology.<\/span><\/p>\n

Primagas is the market leader for LPG-powered mCHP (up to 50 kW) and cooperates with well-known manufacturers. The corporate strategy includes continuous innovation, new applications and technically sophisticated solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is why a new research project was initiated in 2014 together with ZBT and new enerday GmbH from Neubrandenburg. The objective is to develop and launch a mCHP based on a fuel cell powered by LPG. The key module, the LPG-powered fuel cell, is already available; new enerday won the f-cell award in 2012 for its EN\u00a0500 LPG-powered fuel cell. In cooperation with ZBT, work is currently in progress with the primary objectives of optimising heat extraction, enabling integration into existing heating systems and improving the system life time. The plan is to install the first pilot units in 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n
