How do scientific institutions in Germany work together with industry? The participants of a delegation from the USA and Canada are gathering answers on their fact-finding tour of North Rhine-Westphalia. Today they stopped at the ZBT.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Representatives of universities and colleges from the\u00a0USA and Canada<\/b>\u00a0visited the ZBT today. On their delegation trip “Germany today – Higher Education Institutions and their Collaboration with Industry”, organised by the DAAD, they stopped in Duisburg.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n

ZBT’s Scientific Director Harry Hoster presented the institute with its main research areas and its\u00a0collaborations with business enterprises<\/b>\u00a0in research and development. The delegation participants’ questions revolved around financing, organisational and communication aspects.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Theresa Schredelseker, Science Communicator at ZBT, presented the\u00a0ZBT Science School<\/b>, which is currently in the concept stage and is intended to support young scientists in their careers in the future. On the\u00a0hydrogen test field, ZBT scientist Alexander Kvasnicka explained to the visitors the facilities around the\u00a0research filling station<\/b>, which is being further developed and tested here together with and for industry.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n
