Top Cited Article 2025 – Award for ZBT doctoral student Adib Caidi<\/h1>\n

ZBT doctoral student Adib Caidi has been awarded the “Top Cited Article Award 2025” by the scientific publisher Wiley. This is in recognition of a publication that is one of the most cited articles in the journal Particle & Particle Systems Characterization. <\/h4>\n

Every year, the scientific publisher Wiley presents the Top Cited Article Award<\/strong> to the authors of the most cited articles of the year. For 2025, our doctoral student Adib Caidi<\/strong> has now been awarded for his highly acclaimed contribution on important control features of carbon black materials<\/strong> for the characterisation of surface properties. His article was published in the journal Particle & Particle Systems Characterization. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n

The award-winning work deals with key influencing variables<\/strong> of carbon black materials<\/strong> for use in electrochemical energy systems<\/strong>, particularly in batteries and fuel cells. The focus is particularly on surface parameters such as specific surface area, porosity and functional groups that influence electrochemical performance. <\/p>\n

The aim of the work is to create a better understanding<\/strong> of these influencing variables and to develop approaches for a standardised characterisation<\/strong>. This should improve the comparability of different materials and enable their targeted optimisation. The results will contribute to the further development of powerful and efficient energy storage and conversion technologies<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
