This is in recognition of a publication that is one of the most cited articles in the journal Particle &#038; Particle Systems Characterization. <\/h4>\n        <div class=\"intro__text\"><p>Every year, the scientific publisher Wiley presents the <strong>Top Cited Article Award<\/strong> to the authors of the most cited articles of the year. For 2025, our doctoral student <strong>Adib Caidi<\/strong> has now been awarded for his highly acclaimed contribution on important <strong>control features of carbon black materials<\/strong> for the characterisation of surface properties. His article was published in the journal Particle &#038; Particle Systems Characterization.  <\/p>\n<\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"text-teaser text-teaser--white\">\n  <h2 class=\"text-teaser__heading\">The Award-Winning Academic Article<\/h2>\n  <div class=\"text-teaser__text\"><p>The Top Cited Article Award was presented to the research article <b>\u201cKey Control Characteristics of Carbon Black Materials for Fuel Cells and Batteries for a Standardized Characterization of Surface Properties\u201d<\/b> by Adib Caidi et al.   <\/p>\n<p>All publications of the journal in the period from 1. January 2024 to 31. December 2024 were taken into account. The selection is based on the citation frequency and reflects the <strong>scientific reception<\/strong> within the scientific community. <\/p>\n<p>With the <strong>Top Cited Article Award<\/strong>, Wiley regularly recognises articles with high scientific visibility. The focus is particularly on surface parameters such as specific surface area, porosity and functional groups that influence electrochemical performance. <\/p>\n<p>The aim of the work is to create a <strong>better understanding<\/strong> of these influencing variables and to develop approaches for a <strong>standardised characterisation<\/strong>. This should improve the comparability of different materials and enable their targeted optimisation.
