Kick-off: SmarTestMEA \u2013 Developing and testing innovative electrodes for fuel cells and electrolysis<\/h1>\n

The partners met in Duisburg for the kick-off of the NRW-EFRE project SmarTestMEA to jointly develop innovative materials and test systems for more efficient PEM electrodes.<\/h4>\n

A project title that takes some getting used to: \u2018Electrodes for PEMWE and PEMFC<\/b> based on innovative support materials and their reproducible testing in a novel MEA test system (SmarTestMEA)\u2019. But once you get into it, it’s great. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

To mark the official launch of this NRW-EFRE project, the project partners Westf\u00e4lische Hochschule, PROPULS, HSWmaterials, Institut f\u00fcr Umwelt & Energie, Technik & Analytik (IUTA) and ZBT recently came together for a kick-off meeting<\/b> at the IUTA in Duisburg. This exciting project aims to break new ground in the development of electrodes for PEM fuel cells and electrolysers. Together, we will research innovative materials<\/b> and develop an advanced testing system<\/b> that will significantly increase the reproducibility and efficiency of MEAs. <\/p>\n
