The storefront workshop \u201cHydrogen, Here We Come! \u2013 Maritime Applications of the Future <\/strong><\/a>\u201c on September 23, 2026, in Kiel. The event will take place as part of the cH2ance Transformation Hub<\/a><\/strong> and is aimed at companies and other stakeholders who wish to learn<\/strong> about the potential, applications, and developments in the field of maritime hydrogen technologies and to network<\/strong> with others. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Practical Insights into Maritime Hydrogen Technologies<\/h2>\n

Hydrogen is considered a key technology<\/strong> for the climate-friendly transformation of maritime applications, ranging from shipping and port infrastructure to coastal energy and logistics concepts. The workshop will address current strategic, technological, and economic issues<\/strong> and discuss them using practical examples. <\/p>\n

The program includes technical presentations on transformation pathways, infrastructure needs, and regulatory frameworks<\/strong>, as well as insights into specific applications of hydrogen technology. Speakers from industry and research will present, among other things, solutions for the production, storage, and utilisation of hydrogen, as well as innovative propulsion concepts for maritime applications. The program is complemented by a pitch and panel session, as well as guided tours<\/strong> of the Gebr. Friedrich GmbH & Co. KG Shipyard <\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

ZBT<\/strong> is organizing the workshop as a partner of the cH2ance<\/strong> Transformation Hub, in collaboration with HZwo e. V.<\/strong><\/a> and is contributing its expertise in hydrogen and fuel cell technologies<\/strong>. The event offers a platform for professional exchange, networking, and the development of new opportunities for cooperation along the maritime hydrogen value chain. <\/p>\n
