First Hydrogen Energy Symposium: In-depth insights into hydrogen science<\/h1>\n

The first Hydrogen Energy Symposium offered exciting insights into current hydrogen research. Numerous scientists presented their work on electrolysis, fuel cells and fuels. The event was also an excellent opportunity for researchers to network extensively. <\/h4>\n

The first Hydrogen Energy Symposium<\/b> attracted around 100 mostly young scientists, researchers and students from various disciplines to Duisburg. There, they exchanged views on the latest findings and developments in the field of hydrogen research<\/b>. The symposium was organized by the ZBT and the ZBT Research School. <\/p>\n

Two top-class keynotes formed the framework of the conference programme: Prof. Dr. Karin Leistner from Chemnitz University of Technology<\/b> spoke about the influence of magnetism in electrochemistry. Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Schuhmann from Ruhr University Bochum<\/b> shared his findings on high-throughput catalysts<\/b> and nanoelectrochemistry<\/b>. <\/p>\n

Three sessions with short talks covered the topics of electrolysis<\/b>, fuel cells<\/b> and fuels<\/b>. The speakers offered participants in-depth insights into their research on the various hydrogen technologies. <\/p>\n

The symposium was accompanied throughout the day by a poster exhibition with more than 25 scientific posters<\/b>, which encouraged intensive exchange and discussion. And the poster reception in the evening offered the opportunity to network in a relaxed atmosphere. <\/p>\n

The very high level of interest shown by the public in the event, the great atmosphere throughout the day and the consistently positive feedback make a repeat of the Hydrogen Energy Symposium in the coming year seem quite likely. A success for hydrogen research and a strong sign of the innovative power of Duisburg as a research location. So maybe we’ll see you next year! <\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n
